The Dòchas Carers Centre works with professionals and third sector partners to identify unpaid carers and refer them to our service. Those working with individuals who may be caring are often best placed to make referrals.

Supporting Professionals to Support Carers

Professionals play a vital role in identifying and supporting unpaid carers. Dòchas Carers Centre works alongside health, social care, education, community and third sector partners to help carers access the information, support and opportunities available to them.

Caring for someone can be rewarding, but it can also bring challenges. Dochas Carers Centre offers free support to unpaid carers aged 18 and over, providing emotional support, practical information, and advice to help you maintain your wellbeing while continuing in your caring role.
